CLIENT: THE YAMAZAKI WHISKY
The Yamazaki Whisky is a Japanese liquor brand known for its long aged whisky. Like most liquor, bottles are usually packaged in thick cardboard boxes. Alternatively, we recreated a new home for our whisky entirely out of acrylic. Functions similarly as a slide top box, we also added other aesthetic details to make our piece unique. The sides contain hollowed out Japanese characters and the bottom interior features an LED lighting. The LED lighting gives the whisky a “glowing” effect and it’s ideally placed on dim places (e.g. bars).
